Excellent treatment

The doctor gave me injections in my hands for rheumatoid arthritis. After experiencing severe pain for many weeks I could not believe how effective the injections were in relieving the pain. They've given me a new lease of life and I'm so grateful for the care I received at this surgery.

superb treatment

After having problems in both thumbs, I eventually made an appointment to see my GP. He immediately diagnosed ‘Trigger thumbs’ he talked me through the cause & risks of the treatment he could suggest. I decided on going ahead with injections. An appointment was made for. A couple of weeks later . Fabulous, can’t believe the improvement. Thank you all at Beechwood.

Fast and proactive response

Highly recommended, having been a patient at the practice for over 20 years. The doctors at this practice have always provided a very caring, quick and proactive response whenever I or my family have attended. In particular, when during an appointment recently it was identified that urgent care was needed in the local hospital, the doctor personally ensured that it was looked at there within an hour, and without unnecessary admission delays in A&E. The other staff are also very helpful, including practice nurses and receptionists, and whenever urgent symptoms have justified, on several occasions, it has always been possible to be seen by one of the doctors on the same day, usually the same morning.

Overall experience

I have been a patient at this practice for many years and overall I have found the services offered to be excellent. One Dr is a GP that actually has time for his patients and I have never felt rushed during a consultation. He takes time to listen to his patients and understand their concerns. He is kind and compassionate and having had the experience of his end of life care when my late husband passed away, I can testify that he visited on a regular basis and offered ne support, as well as ensuring the best care possible was given to my husband. All of the practice staff are friendly and approachable. Thank-you for providing an excellent service.
